Hospital Case Process
A
- Secure death certificate (DC), permission to embalm (PTE), attestation of death (AoD)
- Establish the identity of the dead body and make sure marked accordingly by toe tag or other means
- Ensure that the dead body is wrapped in a manner that body fluids do not drip
Cover the head to prevent flies from laying eggs in the orifices - Transfer the dead body in an enclosed transport vehicle (do not allow anybody to be with the dead body in the same vehicle compartment)
- Unload the dead body at the morgue/embalming room with respect and care

Residential Case
A
- Confirm if the person is DEAD (check for absence of respiration- refers to signs of death)
- Secure from the relatives the necessary information for filing out the death certificate
- Ensure that the body is wrapped in a manner that body fluids do not drip

- Secure clearance to claim/ transport/ recover (CTR) from proper authorities and document the corpse especially gunshots wounds, bruises, scratch, etc.
- Establish the identity of the dead body and make sure the body is marked accordingly by toe tag or other means
- Ensure that the dead body is wrapped in a manner that body fluids do not drip
