- Broad etiology: trauma, retinal tears, DM

Vitreous Hemorrhage.

- Risks: >50yrs, caucasion, smoking.
- Most common cause of vision loss worldwide.
- Dry: Light sensitive cells break down
- Wet: Abnorm. blood vessels behind retina, grow under macula
- Tx: Inhibitors of vascular growth factor
