Explain - This group is less likely to participate because they are less likely to understand how to participate as the US political system is very complicated and often seems very dysfunctional. With so many people and roles to vote for, it might be too much for them to understand what they’re actually voting for if they haven’t learnt it in school
Example - For example, Americans who don’t have very much education as others (haven’t graduated from high school) in 2022 the turnout rates by education was at its highest at around 38% whereas post graduates in the same year (2022) have a turnout rate of 70%
