Responding To 2C By Partner Flashcards
Partner opens 2C. How should you respond?
Most of the time respond with 2D as a waiting bid….. Unless,
You have a good five card suit AND more than 8 HCP, then bid that suit.
If you bid anything but 2D then game or slam must be reached: no exceptions.

2D. Slam is likely but there is not reason to show clubs.
After 2C and the waiting 2D bid, what bids are forcing and what bids are not by opener?
2NT is not focusing; partner can pass
Bidding any other suit is forcing, even with 0 HCP and a totally flat 4-3-3-3 hand.
