After opponent’s 1NT, what does your double mean?
It means 1 suited Minor OR both Majors.
You partner automatically relays to 2C.
You either pass to play in clubs OR
Bid 2D to play in diamonds
Bid 2H to show both majors. Partner either passes or bids 2S (goes with the longer suit)
After opponent’s 1NT, you bid 2C. What does it mean?
2C means Clubs and one major
Partner passes if holding 3 or more clubs OR
Bids 2D asking for partner to bid his/her best major (2H or 2S)
After opponent’s 1NT, you bid 2D. What does it mean?
2D means Diamonds and one major
Partner passes if holding 3 or more diamonds OR
Bids 2H. Partner either passes or corrects to to bid 2S.
After opponent’s 1NT, you bid 2H. What does it mean?
Hearts and nothing else
After opponent’s 1NT, you bid 2S. What does it mean?
Spades and nothing else.
After opponent’s 1NT, you bid 2NT. What does it mean?
It means both minors and partner bids his/her longest minor.
