What are s/s of respiratory alkalosis?
- Lightheaded / faint
- per-oral numbness
- numbness/tingling in fingers and toes
Treatment for respiratory alkalosis?
- May have to sedate pt. to decrease resps
- treat cause
- Monitor ABGs
