Symptoms
A
Respiratory: dyspnea
CNS: HA, drowsiness, confusion, coma, seizure
CV: Tachycardia, arrhythmia’s, and/or hypotension

Treatment
A
Correct underlying cause
Mechanical ventilation or oxygen
Use caution with O2 for COPD patients
Avoid rapid correction
May need to use bicarb if pH < 7.15
