Give a simple description of Boyle’s law.
A
As you increase the pressure of a gas, it’s volume will decrease.

In which direction do gases move?
A
From areas of high pressure to areas of low pressure.

Describe the pleural cavity.
A
A viserol pleura membrane surrounds the lung and a parietal pleura membrane which attaches to the chest wall. In between these membranes is 3ml of pleural fluid.

What is function of pleural fluid?
A
Provides lubrication across the rib cage
