what are some sites that there can be local spread to in a lung tumour

A

the pleura
hilar lymoh nodes
adjacent lung tissue
the pericardium
mediastinum (areas close to here that can be effected are the recurrent laryngeal nerve and phrenic nerve and also a superior vena naval obstruction
ALSO REMEMBER TO CONSIDER PANCOAST TUMOUR

this has involvement with the brachial plexus so can give sensory and motor symptoms so if there is this and symptoms of lung cancer then THINK OF THIS
