anything that satisfies a need is known as a resource
utility and usability is what makes a object or a substance a resource
something becomes a resource when its utility gives it a value
some things have economical value while others dont but still will be vital
some resource becomes economically valuable over time
time and technology are to main factors that can thanch something into a resource
peoples- knowledge, inventions, ideas and discovery leads to more resources
every invention leads to many others
define natural resources and its types
resources that are drawn from the nature and used without much modification is known as natural resources it is of 2 types
renewable natural resource: resource which can be replenished easily. sometimes not interfered by human activities.
eg: wind, solar, etc…
non renewable resource: resources which are of limited stock. once exhausted may even take thousands of years to get replenished.
eg: coal, kerosene, etc…
human made resources
sometimes natural substanced only becomes a resource when it original form is changed. which are called human made resources.
what is paytent
the exclusive right over a invention, idea or discovery is known as paytent
human resource
people are human resources. people can create more resources when they have knowledge, skill and technology to do so. improving the quality of human skill is known as human resource development
what is technology
it is the aplication of the latest knowledge and skill in doing or making things
conservation of resource
using resource carefully and giving them time to get replenished. if we are not careful then even the renewable resource can get scarce and the non renewable resource will definately get exhausted
sustainable development
balancing the need to use resource and conserve them for future.
