Values that each colored stripe means on a resistor - gives digit, multiplier, and tolerance, if present.
What does Black represent?
digit = 0, multiplier = 1, tolerance = 20%
What does Brown represent?
digit = 1, multiplier = 10, tolerance = 1%
What does Red represent?
digit = 2, multiplier = 100, tolerance = 2%
What does Orange represent?
digit = 3, multiplier = 1k, tolerance = 3%
What does Yellow represent?
digit = 4, multiplier = 10k, tolerance = 4%
What does Green represent?
digit = 5, multiplier = 100k
What does Blue represent?
digit = 6, multiplier = 1M
What does Violet represent?
digit = 7, multiplier = 10M
What does Gray represent?
digit = 8, multiplier = 100M
What does White represent?
digit = 9, multiplier = 1,000M
What does Gold represent?
multiplier = 0.1, tolerance = 5%
What does Silver represent?
multiplier = 0.01, tolerance = 10%
