Why is a border included on a blueprint?
So you can be sure that all the original information is shown
What are a couple pieces of information that the title block can include?
- Name of project
- Owners name
- Legal description of address of the project
- the date the drawing was completed
- scale
- sheet identification number
What are general notes?
These are instructions that apply to the completed blueprint
What are local notes?
Local notes apply to specific information on a blueprint. It is a way of providing information that can not be shown any other way.
What is a site plan?
A site plan is an orthographic ariel view of the area where the house will be located

The sixth page of architectural drawings
What height are floor plans in a kitchen drawn at?

What is the purpose of a schedule?
To communicate detailed information about specific projects

When are mechanical plans used?
They are used on larger projects because the architectural plans would become too cluttered if the mechanical plan was included
