Q

Why are case studies reffered to as a separate research method?

A
  • The individual or the group that is the object of a case study is unique in some way.
  • Sampling isn’t an issue - you’re interested in a particular case, not the population this case ‘represents’.
  • Less focus on generazability.
  • Case is studied thoroughly, using a combination of different methods.
