Q

How does the Parasympathetic and the Sympathetic N.S. work with erections?

A

The parasympathetic nervous system causes the arteries leading to the penis to dilate which increases the blood flow, veins that carry blood away from the penis become compressed. From there, the stimulation of the sympathetic nervous system causes the ejaculation of semen.
