Function = promote testosterone and oestrogen

Target = seminiferous tubules and follicle in ovary
Function = production of sperm and maturation of ovum/follicle
Oestrogen
Target = body cells
Function = promotes sex characteristics
Progesterone
Target = uterus (placenta and breast)
Function = maintain endometrium (develop milk glands and umbilical cord)
Human chorionic gonadatropin (HCG)
Target = corpus lutein
Function = maintain progesterone
Prolactin
Target = mammary gland
Function = milk production
Oxytocin
Target = Breast and uterus
Function = promote contractions and breastfeeding
