WI conscience clauses
A
Doctors and institutions have right to refuse to perform abortions or provide surgical sterilizations. WI doctors are NOT allowed to refuse to prescribe contraception.

Arguments for / against conscience clauses
A
- Against: doctors take on moral obligations to their patients. Could be unsafe if doctors do not provide. Support patient autonomy. What is legal is not always best medically. Potential for discrimination (LGBT)
- For: avoid the specialty that makes you do this; respect own autonomy, but must be willing to refer.
