Fertilization

When males and females of the same species look different from eachother
External fertilization
When eggs and sperm are released into environment and sperm swim to egg
Internal fertilization
Sperm are placed in the female body and swim through tubes to find egg, requires mating (intercourse)
Asexual reproduction
Reproduction involving only one parent
Extinct
If living things were not able to reproduce, their species would become extinct

When one or more organism create more of its own species
Budding
When an organism develops a bud
Clone
Having exactly the same physical and chemical makeup as its parent
Fission
When the parent organism divided into 2 or more identical organisms
Vegetative Reproduction
The plant form of asexual reproduction
