What is an activity log?
An activity log is a record or log your daily shift duties. They are a combination of risk management (accountability) and information (intelligence) source of activities that a crew may be involved in and available for quick dissemination to other members.
What is a notebook
Written notes are taken so as to assist an officer with recalling relevant information and observations that were made at a particular time. the official police notebook can be called upon as part of the evidence

PPRA section 436
436: ‘Recording of questioning etc.’ (1) This section applies to the questioning of a relevant person. (2) The questioning must, if practicable, be electronically recorded. (3) If the person makes a confession or admission to a police officer during the questioning, the confession or admission is admissible in evidence against the person in a proceeding only if it is recorded as required by subsection (4) or section 437. (4) If the confession or admission is electronically recorded, the confession or admission must be part of a recording of the questioning of the person and anything said by the person during questioning of the person.
What is an occurrence report?
The occurrence report QP 758 is the key component used within QPRIME. It facilitates the collection of key information such as complainants, informants, witnesses, property, offenders and suspects and his or her modus operandi ( a particular way of doing something) .
What is QPRIME
QPRIME is the policing information system introduced into the QPS to record and manage all reportable police incidents, manage tasking and work performance. It is also used to conduct reporting and information analysis and more.
