1. decreased GFR –> increase in serum creatinine
2. **angioedema
   
   • no renin=nothing in RAAS pathway gets formed, including ACE enzyme
3. **relatively contraindicated in patients already taking ACE inhibitors
   
   • due to risk of angioedema with ACE inihibitor usage + risk of renal failure from ischemia with BOTH afferent arteriole constriction & efferent arteriole dilation
4. hypotension
5. hyperkalemia
