D: Chronic Kidney Disease Elevated indicates inability of the kidneys to transfer from blood into the urine

D: CKD Elevated indicates inability of the kidneys to transfer from the blood into the urine
Creatine ( DC, E or D)
D: CKD Elevated indicates inability of the kidneys to transfer from blood intro the urine. Used to diagnose CKD
Specific Gravity of Urine ( DC, E or D)
D: CKD Depressed levels indicate inability of the kidneys to concentrate urine and to deposit wastes into the urine.
Calcium ( DC, E or D)
D: CKD Depressed kidney’s role in activation of vitamin D and therefore calcium absorption.
PTH ( DC, E or D)
D: CKD Elevated indicative of increased risk of renal osteodystrophy.
URR/KTV ( DC, E or D)
D: Dialysis indicative of effectiveness of dialysis in removing wastes
Transferrin Saturation (TSAT) ( DC, E or D)
D: CKD decreased levels. adequate iron stores necessary in order for EPO medications to be effective.
GFR ( DC, E or D)
D: CKD Decreased levels are indicative of one of the five stages of CKD
