next is a 5 alpha reductase - finestride

TRUS (Transrectal Ultrasonography of the Prostate) with biopsy

dopper ultrasound with colour
Define stage 3 CKD.
moderate reduction in GFR (30-59)
What do you give to treat proteinuria and hypertension?
ACE I’s
What blood results would you expect in IgA nephopathy?
increased IgA serum levels
associated with HSP (arthritis, colitis, purpuric skin rash)
What is Churg-Strauss related to?
asthma, vasculitis, (small and medium), allergic hypersensitivity
Is Churg-Strauss eosinophillic?
yes
What are 2/3rds of the involvement in Churg Strauss?
skin involvement
What is pANCA+ve?
Churg Strauss
What is c-ANCA positive?
Wegener’s
What is Wegener’s related to?
rhinitis, vasculitis, epistaxis, saddle nose deformity, conductive hearing loss, glomerulonephritis, haemoptysis
