3) remove recurrent decay rom dentin with large round bur
4) check for decalcified enamel and remove with high speed

1) check BWX
2) scratch with explorer
- if it leaves gray streaks, it is composite
- feels sandy
- high pitch scratchy sound
- feels smooth (dentin)
- if explodes white powder at high speed, it is composite
