Describe four features of the religious settlement
Book of Common Prayer (1559) - a set of church service to be used in all churches - clergy had to follow the Prayer book or be punished
Act of Uniformity - outlined how churches and services should be conducted
Act of Supremacy - Elizabeth would become Supreme Governor of the Church of England - all clergy and royal officials had to swear an oath of allegiance to her
Royal Injunctions - Set of instructions to the clergy that reinforced AOS/U - included instructions on how people should worship God and how churches services to be conducted
