Q

Give an example of a numinous experience.

A

An example is from 1969 when Neil Armstrong stepped on the moon and an incredible feeling came over him. He believes this was the presence of God and says that he ‘just knew’ God existed, however other explanations for this occurrence could be that he was so overwhelmed and filled with emotions that he thought it was God.

Q

Give an example of a conversion.

A

An example is of a man named Saul who hates Christians but one day Jesus cane upon him, through a vision, and asked why he hated him. Later Saul changed his name to Paul and declared his faith in Jesus. However conversions don’t have the be over-dramatic; just a realisation that you want to follow God.
