What do catholic’s think God is like?
God is: a father figure, forgiving, selfless, protecting, a mentor, he sustains and nurtures.
What are the three omni words and what do they mean?
Omnipotent: all-powerful, God’s unlimited power.
Omniscient: all-knowing, God knows everything that has happened and everything that will happen.
Omnibenevolent: all-loving, God is infinitely good.
Give two quotes, one from The Old Testament and one from the New Testament, to support that God is omnipotent.
Old Testament:
‘Great is our Lord and mighty in power’ or ‘is anything too hard for the Lord?’
New Testament:
‘His eternal power’ or ‘With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.’
