It means that by buying fairtrade you that workers and farmers are receiving better trading conditions and opportunities for development. They will receive a fair price and assistance in producing it in a sustainable way. This helps ensure future production

immediate assistance to deal with the aftermath of a disaster e.g. emergency food, clean water, shelter and medical supplies.
