an economically developed country, a rich country where they can enjoy a comfortable standard of living

climate, if a country is hot, with a lack of rainfall, they cannot grow crops etc and make money from these.
how can natural disasters cause world poverty?
location can cause a place to become more or less prone to earthquakes, tsunamis etc
how can politics and corruption cause world poverty?
civil wars may result in death of people and loss of homes
how can war cause world poverty?
money that is spent on weapons etc. could instead be spent on poor people
people may also flee to poorer countries as refugees
how can population growth cause world poverty?
they may but unable to feed the extra mouths. this puts a strain on essential resources e.g. clean drinking water

bring about what is right and far according to the laaw or making up for what has been done wrong. the fact that many people in LEDC’s are without clean water in clearly unjust
what does stewardship mean in terms of world poverty?
the idea that believers have a duty to look after the environment on behalf of god. This includes helping others
what is compassion in terms of world poverty?
a feeling of pity that makes one want to help. seeing someone who is suffering e.g. television appeals with encourage people to help
