The book of exodus, Moses was revealed the Ten Commandments Mount Sinai
What did the Israelites do about the commandments?
They did not follow the commandments, worshipping a calf instead of God as they had seen in Egypt.
What are the commandments for?
The agreement was that they would follow God’s law and God would be their God to watch over them and bless them. Now, it is a guideline on how to love other and most importantly God.
What are the beatitudes?
A guideline of how to live in Gods kingdom. It is how Jesus lived

8 but it is unsure weather there are 9, 10 or 7. most commonly 8

Blessed. Blessed meaning spititual wellbeing and prosperity

The blesse dhave a share in salvation and have entered the kingdom of God, experiencing a fortaste of heaven

The commandment of love was made to be balenced christians, by loving God, others and ourselves.
What do the commandments tell us?
We need to be open to recieving love and loving others. To have a healthy sense of self and to not be selfish.
What does ‘Image Dei’ image and likness of God mean?
Human beings were created in the image and likeness of God.
What is the commandment of love?
‘You must love God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind’ and ‘you must love your neighbour as you love yourself’

Jesus said the commandment of love just after celebrating the Passover meal with His disciples. He commanded his diciples to love one another
