Content Validity
An assessment accurately measures what it claims to test
Construct Validity
An assessment that measures theoretical ideas (personality traits, etc.)
Face Validity
An assessment that measure the surface without serious evaluation
Predictive Validity
An assessment that measures things that happen in the future
Criterion Validity
An assessment that establishes something in the past
Split-Half Reliability
Measure of consistency between one half of a test with the other half of the test
Test-Retest Reliability
The same outcome is achieved on at least two ocassions
Alternate Form Reliability
Different versions of a test result in the same or similar results
Inter-Rater Reliability
Same assessment given by multiple people has the same results
