When the accused must surrender his passport, put this into the show cause / form 10

That the accused surrender all documents issued by Canadian or foreign authorities for the purposes of international travel, including, but not limited, to all passports
The Lead Investigator shall, when notified that an accused person has surrendered a passport or official documents as required by a condition of release:
(a) confirm that the passport/documents received are those required by the release condition(s);
(b) if the passport is a Canadian passport, notify the IRCC Passport Tactical Intelligence Section via e-mail to IRCC.CNPassportIntelligence-RenseignementPasseportRC.IRCC@cic.gc.ca;
(c) that the passport is in the custody of York Regional Police;
(d) if the passport is a foreign passport, immediately contact CBSA at (416) 973-3891 to:
(i) inform them of the charges, if not already informed; and
(ii) confirm the status of the individual in Canada, if not already confirmed;
