Relationship
- A relationship is a customer, client or member.
- Relationships can be associated to “x” loan products.

These are the “x” between “x”. Connections are simply a junction object records, between two relationship objects.
These records exist to provide the functionality to “x”.

They help define the relationship between two entities clearly, which makes it easy to:

They drive the functionality of many other features in nCino such as:
- Suggested “x” in entity involvement
- Automatic creation of “x”
- “x”calculations
They are useful in establishing the structure of the relationship between two entities even when “x” are not being used.

- Disable “x” handling Account & Contact record type assignments for nCino and the FSC.
- Enable the Account “x”.
- Update “x” to configure Assigned and Default record types.

- Don’t use household member role to link “x” together. Only use these to link the members to the “x” relationship itself.
- Use “x” and “x” to specify a household account.
- Use a consistent “x” for household records.
- Use households for “x” purposes, not for standalone relationships.
- 1 relationship can be part of multiple households. “x” amounts from this relationship will be included in all households of which it is a member.
- Good use case? Business with multiple “x”. Each “x” is it’s own relationship and the household will show the combined exposure.

- Don’t use household member role to link “household members” together. Only use these to link the members to the “household” relationship itself.
- Use “type” and “record type” to specify a household account.
- Use a consistent “naming convention” for household records.
- Use households for “exposure” purposes, not for standalone relationships.
- 1 relationship can be part of multiple households. “Exposure” amounts from this relationship will be included in all households of which it is a member.
- Good use case? Business with multiple “franchises”. Each “franchise” is it’s own relationship and the household will show the combined exposure.
