Overview of the nCino UI Flashcards
Remote Site Overview:
What is a Salesforce remote site?
- A remote site is an “x” that can be accessed from a Salesforce “x” for your organisation.
- Before Salesforce can call a “x”, that “x” must be registered on the “x” page on Salesforce or the call will fail.
Important:
- An “x” must be registered on the “x” page before configuring any “x” page, “x” callout, or “x” call.
Remote Site Overview:
What is a Salesforce remote site?
- A remote site is an “external website” that can be accessed from a Salesforce “application” for your organisation.
- Before Salesforce can call an “external website”, that “website” must be registered on the “Remote Site Settings” page on Salesforce or the call will fail.
Important:
- An “external website” must be registered on the “Remote Site Settings” page before configuring any “Visualforce” page, “Apex” callout, or “XmlHttpRequest” call.
Conditional Rendering:
nCino UI supports conditionally rendered “x” and “x”. When information is entered into a conditionally rendered “x”, it can immediately affect other “x” and, upon saving, can affect other “x”.
Conditional Rendering:
nCino UI supports conditionally rendered “fields” and “routes”. When information is entered into a conditionally rendered “field”, it can immediately affect other “fields” and, upon saving, can affect other “routes”.
Conditional Rendering: Use Cases
- “x”: The system doesn’t render a Route until the prerequisite information is entered. Example - Doc Prep route doesn’t display prior to approval of a loan.
- “x”: Users can only view information they are required to view as part of their job. Example - Operations people mightn’t be able to view credit bureau information.
- “x”: Sometimes information may be hidden from all users, regardless of role, except for specific users who have a requirement for that information.
Conditional Rendering: Use Cases
- “Workflow”: The system doesn’t render a Route until the prerequisite information is entered. Example - Doc Prep route doesn’t display prior to approval of a loan.
- “System Profile/Role”: Users can only view information they are required to view as part of their job. Example - Operations people mightn’t be able to view credit bureau information.
- “Security”: Sometimes information may be hidden from all users, regardless of role, except for specific users who have a requirement for that information.
