Regulation of Healthcare Flashcards

What is an inspection and why is it important to the service user?
This is when the regulatory body sends a team to examine the practices of an organisation or individual to make sure they are following all legislation set out to protect the service user. Reports are published for all to see and if inadequate improvements are made and further checks carried out.
