Open House Supervision/Hours

• 2nd grade & under
• 3rd & 4th grade
• 5th grade & higher
• Scout Troops
• How long is visit & in what hours of the day?

Answer 1

• 1 Sup for 4 2nd graders & below
• 1 Sup for 15 3rd & 4th graders
• 1 Sup for 30 5th graders & above
• 1 Sup for 20 scout troops
• open house shall not exceed 1 hr 0900-1700

Duration of time Memorial Ribbons for LODD

Displayed for 30 days from when next of kin is notified (?)

Question 3

National Flag display

• how/when?

Answer 3

• sunrise to sunset on all days of the year
• may be displayed for 24 hrs if properly illuminated
• should not be displayed in inclement weather unless an all-weather flag
• Memorial Day it shall be displayed at
  half-staff from sunrise-noon, and at peak till sunset
• after receipt of 5-5-5-5 or notification of LODD of any member NYC workforce it shall be displayed at half-staff until sunset on day of funeral or time designated in Dept orders

Housewatch

• Who shall perform housewatch duties?
• how many housewatch periods are there?
• appropriate age for entering beyond hw?
• can use id# in lieu of signature

• members below the rank of Lt. w the exemption of pilots,marine engineers and wipers
  FF 6th grd w less than 90 days service may perform hw duties between 0900-2400 under supervision
• 8 3 hr periods
• children under 15 yrs shall not enter qtrs wo parent/guardian unless written permission from commissioner
• BITs/Testing Unit personnel,EEO personnel
