Marine division carries 3300 in both the “343” and “Firefighter 2”. “The Bravest” holds 200 gallons of the 10 - 33’ boats carry 25 gallons
Prevents air from mixing with the flammable vapors given off by the liquid
Stops or reduces the generation and release of flammable vapors
Separates the flame from the surface of the fuel which reduces the tendency of the fuel to boil thus giving off feet vapors
Water content of the foam cools the fuel further reducing vapor generation. It also extinguished burning class “A” materials in the spill area and cools adjacent surfaces such as tank walls
