Location: isolated “rural periphery” affecting transport and labour mobility
Low earning: 23% lower than UK average
Brain Drain: due to lack of opportunities

Outdoor Activities: Rock-climbing, surfing (helps with ageing population)

Provides higher education in Cornwall (includes schools, colleges and unis such as Exeter)
Prevents brain drain and helps diversify local economy eg bars, clubs.
