Authorised refueller:
Qualified ground engineers, mechanics, pilots.
If no authorised refuelled available consult:
FCOM/PRO-NOR-SUP-FUEL “Refuelling”
Before refuelling commenced:
Ensure that the bowser counter is zeroed and appropriately earthed.
After refuelling:
Check refuelling panel cover is latched and cap is replaced.
A fuel quality check must be carried out:
At ALL stations where fuel is uplifted.
Fuel quality check is carried out after:
1000 litres has been delivered.
If less than 1000 litres is uplifted, on completion of refuelling.
To check for water:
The engineer or refueller will take a sample from the bowser and check for water.
Jet A1 S.G summer and winter:
Summer 0.78
Winter 0.81
Fuel record form, white copy:
Retained with the flight documents.
Fuel record form, blue copy:
Retained at the station.
Who notifies the refueller and completes the fuel record form:
PM.
At a manned station, the certification is signed by:
Engineer or refueller.
At an unmanned station the certification is signed by:
The crew.
Captain and FO shall ensure:
TOTAL DEPARTURE FUEL shown on ECAM is in close agreement with final fuel ordered.
Verify the ECAM fuel distribution is correct by referring to:
QRH/CP-REFD, SD page.
