Door opening policy, abnormal conditions.

Can be opened from the inside when:

A
  • Diversion or charter flight (cabin crew with captains permission).
  • Emergency situation.
  • Contacted catering staff will not open doors. Doors will be opened by engineering staff.
  • Aircraft towing or maintenance, the doors will be opened by engineering staff.

**Doors must be disarmed and in manual mode.

Door closing policy:

A

-May be closed from inside or outside.

-Departing: Door shall be closed from the inside by cabin crew.
Only cabin crew shall participate in the locking process.

-Once closed any need need to re open the doors must be communicated to the captain by FA1 or groundstaff via headset.
(Confirm with ground engineer via headset that ground supporting equipment is positioned and conditions are safe for door to be re opened).
