- Scrooge dismisses everything that the gentlemen have to say to him. He informs them that the suffering of other people in society is not his “business”.
- towards the end he actually runs towards the chraity worker sand even quickens his ace which could suggest the effect redemption has had on him

pathetic falecy
A
- the opening stave reflects Scrooges emotions- cold and gloomy atmosphere- This presents the hostile atmosphere as intrusive and uncontrollable, allowing it to dominate the tone of the stave.
- In the final stage the fog disappears and the sky is isntead bright and jovial which reflects Scrooge’s character- highlights his change as successfull and having a positive effects on others aswell as his surroundings
