Significance of Jesus’ death, resurrection and ascension

A
  • death atoned human mistakes as he acted as the scapegoat. We can relate to his suffering
  • Resurrection as he had to die to come back to life, proves life after death, some still needed physical proof (Thomas)
  • Ascension 40 days after and left Holy Spirit, instructions for evangelism, acted as the reset for Christians
