- Recent illness, especially URTI

- Allow it to play itself out
- Topical chloramphenicol (bacterial)
- Topical antihistamines (allergic)

- Foreign body

- Red eye
- Pain (especially on blinking)

- Blurred vision

- Allow it to resolve (occasionally with anaesthetic drops)

- Topical steroids (prevents pupil adhesions)
- Underlying cause (Immunosuppressants, antibiotics, etc.)

Lower eyelid drooping away from the eye

- Dry eyes

What is entropion?
Eyelid folded towards eye

- Red eye
- Foreign body sensation
- Scratchy pain
What two things can entropion lead to ?
- Corneal abrasions

Surgery to reset the eyelid

Inflammation of the eyelids

- Painful eyelids
