Recording A Grand Piano: Spaced Pair Overheads

Start by setting up two ? on stands and position them so they’re recording either side of the piano and should be pointing directly down at the ?

You would set up a spaced pair of ? ? and have them outside the piano to capture the sound of the room as well as the piano. This won’t give you the ? image of the piano from left to right but will give you a nice stereo image from the room.
