A

girls- develop fine motor skills earlier than boys, like writing
boys- develop gross motor earlier. boys also have more muscle mass, particularly after puberty (NO SHITE!)

consider personal and cultural differences in sports, use sports as a way to teach students about history and other cultures.

A

-allowing a student to officiate a small ports activity can teach LEADERSHIP. Teach fairness and including others.
-Activities such as the “human knot” can teach COLLABORATIVE problem solving and safety.They have to work together. Also coach them to not injure each other
-lessons on safety
-awareness of others bodies.
Also games like volley ball teach kids to work together.
