-What the drug does to the body
-body’s response to the drug
4 main processes in pharmacokinetics
ADME (absorption, distribution, metabolism and elimination)
What is bioavailability ?
The fraction of drug that reaches systematic circulation in an unchanged form
Bio transformation meaning ?
Biochemical modification or degradation through specialised enzymatic actions
