What is the difference between Tone and Attitude
There is no difference between Tone and Attitude
The Powerscore RC Bible uses them interchangeably
Both mean the state of mind or feeling that each group has on the subject matter at hand
Tone is representative of the the passage as a whole, and not just of a single section. An author who exhibits strong support for a position throughout a passage but then at the very end of the passage acknowledges that critics exist would not be said to be “concerned” or “negative” but rather to have written with a tone of “Reasoned Optimism” or “Positive but Realistic”
Tone exhibited at the end of or part of a passage does not override or outweigh positive support an author communicates earlier
