➊ Reiter’s syndrome

Monoarthritis, typically after a preceding STI or gastroenteritis
Chlamydia, Shigella, and Salmonella

➌ HLA-B27 +ve, Male

Septic Arthritis – there’s no joint infection in reactive arthritis

How is it managed?

A

Exclude Septic Arthritis! - Joint aspiration and MC&S
• NSAIDs, Steroids
• Most resolve within 6 months
