originates from proximal convoluted tubule epithelium

A

usually asymptomatic so found incidentally
flank pain, flank mass, hematuria, HTN, weight loss

metastasis: bone pain, anemia, weakness, IVC obstruction and varicocele, stauffer syndrome (liver metastasis), high ACTH, ADH

A

incidental finding by imaging (US/CT with contrast. renal biopsy.
labs for metastasis (Ca, LFT)

A

tumor thrombus into IVC causing obstruction. or in renal vein
