  • Obstruction of the airways
  • Chronic Bronchitis and Emphysema (The Alveoli are too inflated and they can’t exchange or get rid of the air very well)
  • Barrel chest symptom
  • Caused by smoking
  • Steroids are an option but they don’t really help so you just live with it

What is Lung cancer, how does it spread, and what causes it, and what is an aid to it

A
  • When harmful cells grow in the lungs
  • Spreads by the O2 carrying the harmful cells throughout the body and blood stream
  • caused by smoking
  • Chemo stops it but it still spreads sicknesses to the body and sometimes the harmful cells have already entered the blood and you will just have to wait

  • It is a bacteria
  • People with low immunity need to worry about it
  • It is airborne meaning you must wear a N95 mask or higher when in contact
  • A sign is Bloody Sputum (coughing up blood)
  • An X-Ray is the only way to see if you have it
