What are the boundaries of the Posterior Triangle?
- Apex: Union of the sternocleidomastoid and the trapezius muscles at the superior nuchal line of the occipital bone
- Anterior: Posterior border of the sternocleidomastoid
- Posterior: Anterior border of the trapezius
- Base: Middle 1/3 of the clavicle
- Roof: Investing layer of the deep cervical fascia
- Floor: Muscle layer covered with Perevertebral fascia of the deep cervical fascia

–Spinal accessory nerve (Cranial Nerve XI)
–Branches of cervical plexus
–Roots and trunks of brachial plexus

–Terminal part of external jugular vein
•Lymph Nodes:
–Occipital
–Supraclavicular
•Muscles:
–Splenius capitus
–Levator scapulae
–Inferior belly of omohyoid
–Posterior Scalene
–Middle Scalene
–Anterior Scalene
