A

Broadcasted live on the radio and as a podcast on bbc sounds.
Launched in 2015.
Hosted by Laura Laverne and Emma Barnett
Spin off of Woman’s Hour (launched in the 1950s)
Average age of listeners is 30/50 year old middle class women.

- different ages, ethnicities, and intellects (conforms to the BBC as can target niche groups)
Regulation:-
– talks about controversial topics such as masturbation (watershed, still conforming to Reithian values but has to keep a good reputation therefore discussing more taboo topics after the watershed)
Discussion:-
- personal thoughts and experiences on wanting children
- able to connect with the audience by giving space to marginalised voices (allows for the platform to be approachable for other marginalised groups, as seen throughout the industry through BBC Pride and the Asian Network)
