Ability to reflect on ethical consideration/issues & take responsibility for own awareness of ethical behaviour
Ability to apply ethical principles to decision making in 3rd/4th year placement
Communication skills
Must be able to communicate w/ other students, faculty, instructors, staff, clients, across diverse cultures
Must recognize power of nonverbal communication
Ex. sensitivity to individual / cultural differences in communication
Ability to communicate coherently and respond verbally and in writing timely
Judgement, Self Regulation and Relationship Skills
Ability to observe & examine complex situations
Awareness of impact of one’s actions on self and others
Must be willing to change attitude/behaviour when it falls outside of standards for social work practice or interferes with clients
